My objective for this “Review” is to supersede all of my previously submitted “Reviews” in favor and acknowledgment of Children of Joy Pediatrics (“JJP”). By way of history, I’ am a proud Hispanic single father to my son who is, but not limited to, “multi-handicapped” and “ill.” For approximately the past five (5) years, Dr. Miranda and her valued and respected Team have provided my son with “unprecedented” genuine care, individual attention, and unique professionalism, which I believe has set a “new” standard within the medical industry. During these precious years, I have witnessed “JJP” learn and thrive from their relentless commitment to providing their patients and parents with “cutting edge” medical services and “one-on-one” attention. Regrettably, as an adult, my son will no longer be receiving his “special” medical care from, Dr. Miranda, nevertheless, “JJP" shall forevermore remain a vital part of our family!

My children have been attending this facility since they were born. I loved the fact that she spoke Spanish, so when I was not able to take them my parents could and there wouldn't be a language barrier. Although this is a great asset, Children of Joy Pediatrics has only lowered their standards. Yes, the waiting time is beyond long, sometimes a doctor won't see your kids, instead you will have a nurse practitioner. There is no consistency with the doctors and the front desk is just absurd.

I have been a patient of Dr. Miranda for the past 2 years and from day one I have always received the best patient care! From her front desk assistants to the medical assistants, I always know I’ll be taken care of. They are always available even after business hours, the answering service always connect you with the provider on call. I’m so grateful for this office to give me the peace of mind that my children are getting the medical care they need

I used to love this practice but unfortunately today will be my last visit. I’ve been getting fed up with the revolving door for doctors, wait time, and wait to get on the phone with a staff member. Today I was in the office for 2hrs 15mins and to me that’s unacceptable. I loved certain staff members but at this point the bad out weighs the good and I will be looking for a new doctor. As I waited other patients complained about the same things I am, which tells me it’s a persistent issue.

My children's have been coming here around 3 years, at the beginning everything was great, no long wait, excellent care, they will cal back if lab results had to be discuss. But my last visit was not very pleasant had to wait around 4 hours and was not seen by the doctor, the response was that they where short on staff. Then I returned with my other child for the annual physical and didn't get a call back to let me know that the lab results had to be discuss, only found out because I called :(

Dr. Miranda is a great doctor, very knowledgable, compassionate however her staff members are inconsistent and unprofessional. I'm very sad that such an amazing practice is becoming a public clinic with no structure.

As a single parent to a ?special needs? son finding a medical team, which provides comprehensive medical services while simultaneously providing competent, friendly, bi-lingual, and timely services was a challenge; to say the least. However, at CJP's my son consistently receives such services as a child and, today, as a young adult. In conclusion, words cannot begin to express or exaggerate the positive impact that, CJP has had upon my son?s life medically, educationally, and personally.

Dr. Miranda seems knowledgeable but has an attitude sometimes which makes her seem very unprofessional. She lacks sensitivity when it comes to new parents and does not know how to express herself. She should be open to questions and comments because as new parents we are learning as we go but she instead seems to expect as if we already know many stuff and isn't as patient as I thought she was. Will be looking for another pediatrician I can ask questions without feeling as I am being judged..
