I am compassionate and care about my patient's need very much. I always enjoy learning. I came to the United States in 1988 for my PhD degrees in Molecular Biology. Years of training in basic science have made thinking, exploring and learning habits of my clinical practice. I try to take time off from my busy schedule to attend conference and course every year to keep my clinical knowledge updated. What unique of me is that being New York State certified MD acupuncturist, I am not only board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, I am also very experienced in musculoskeletal ultrasound. I have integrated musculoskeletal ultrasound into the practice since 2007. I am happy that when my patients with joint or tendon problem present in our office for help, ultrasound exam is conveniently set up in our office for diagnosis before they start acupuncture treatment. Those patients can also receive ultrasound-guided injection if combinational treatment with acupuncture and injection is needed. We also perform EMG for diagnosing peripheral nerve related problem, cervical or lumbar nerve impingement.
