Dr Sachs office in Cedar Knolls is like an alternate universe of medical care. Each and every person on staff we dealt with was AMAZING! They are efficient, professional, and caring. My daughter is 5, and each person that did imaging & screening with her was excellent. I never felt like they were just there to work. I felt they cared about my daughter, my concerns and her comfort while being there. It was a long visit due to all the testing, but didn't feel so. Thanks Dr Sachs & Staff!!

I have recommended the Doctor to 3 patients. I was impressed with the doctor and his staff from the first visit. Professional but still warm and caring. Sometimes professional can be cold and off putting. Not here.
in Summit, NJ |
Highly skilled specialist in eye issues, has many, many independent awards for his specialty
in Parsippany, NJ |
Upon returning from a business trip, I was experiencing floaters and following that, shadows. I called my regular eye doctor who immediately instructed me to see Dr. Sachs. Dr. Sachs saw me that same afternoon and following an exam, determined I had a detached retina and immediately scheduled me for surgery that evening. My eyesight has been saved thanks to the Doctor's quick action and complete and through explanation. A truly wonderful experience.
in Hackettstown, NJ |
Dr. Sachs saved my life. I came to see him on a 6 month basis until he found the freckle on my retina had turned into cancer. He made one phone call to Wills Eye in Philadelphia and I had an appointment with the top ocular oncologist in the country, Dr. Carol Shields. I am now a 6 year survivor thanks to him. He is an amazing doctor!
in Basking Ridge, NJ |

in Cedar Knolls, NJ |
I travel to see Dr. Sachs despite the fact that he is an hour away and out of my insurance network because I trust his knowledge and skill. Your eyes will have to be dilated, you will have to do an eye test and you may have to have pictures of your retina - it takes time, but I feel secure that I am being well taken care of. You may have to wait for the dilation, for each step - but that is part of the process. He is knowledgable and trustworthy -- isn't that what you want ?

    Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
