Went to Dr Klein 18 months ago. He was very curt and rude. Demanding to know if I was “ sure” that I could afford the $800 I’d have to pay for the tests of my veins. I assured him that I could. Did the tests and got a 5 minute visit with him after where he told me I had CVI and would need another costly procedure. He handed me a pamphlet and said to call if I had any questions. I never went back. Since then I’ve had a second and 3rd opinion at two highly rated facilities. I do not have CVI. He was rude and wrong.

In the midst of the pandemic, Dr. Kline chose to not wear a mask during a consult in a small exam room. (We were wearing masks) If he chose to not wear one, I guess that he doesn't require his patients to do so either. We have no way of knowing if someone who was asymptomatic had been in the room before the appointment or if he was. We said something to Dr. Kline, and he said that he was social distancing. Virus droplets can remain in the air for hours, and can even be spread by talking. Social distance in an enclosed space is not possible. To put it bluntly, he should have the same standards as COSTCO! We should have got up and walked out. We will never go in there again.

Careless medical office during the pandemic::: Neither Dr Kline nor his medical assistant wore face masks during my consultation on July 16, 2020. The medical assistant’s excuse for not wearing it was that she had worn it all day long, and that I was the last patient for the day! Eventually, she did wear the face mask, but she had already taken my blood pressure and oximeter reading. When Dr Kline came into the exam room, he was not wearing a face mask. When I told him that I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in his office, and that I would have to leave if he wouldn’t wear one, he dropped his pen on the desk and left the room.

Not enough space to write all that is needed: short version. No insurance, self pay. I’ve had 7 ulcers in the past. They have all healed, some with a docs help, some w/o. I have no problem w/ money. Mr. Kline seems like he did. He was very short so I flat out asked him if something was wrong. I had a “very serious wound & no insurance." He kept saying “very expensive”. Throwing out 1000/3000 $ procedure prices. I’ve done this for 7 years, I’ve already PAID for those procedures in the past. He laughed when I told him how I’d SUCCESSFULLY healed all of my other wounds. He also made sure that I knew "people have their feet amputated for stuff like this." He sent me on my way w/ 30 days worth of antibiotics (thank u) & an ointment which made my wound go from ok to unbearable over night. Got to moist, even I knew that would happen. But what do I know? I'm poor & not worth helping. Never judge a book by its cover. Take down the N.A. items in your office. False advertising.

Nice man with a dreadful “bedside “ manner. He is blunt. On my first visit for wound care he nonchalantly told me that I probably needed half of my foot amputated. This was prior to any tests, blood work, X rays or MRI that would provide an honest review of the condition of my wound. I saw him once or twice after the initial visit. A friend who is a nurse practitioner suggested a second opinion. I went up to Mayo in Phoenix where my foot was healed, not amputated.

Dr. Kline took care of my husband for two years, the best doctor we have ever had. He cares and it shows. Dr. Kline did many surgeries on Tom and each time he was there from surgery through the healing process. He was interested and concerned about Tom. The one thing we appreciated more than anything else was his honesty. He will always be honest with you and tell you what your options are and what the probable outcome will be. He really is a fantastic doctor and we are grateful.

I am HIGHLY pleased with Dr. Kline and my surgeries. The staff is helpful, and friendly with one exception. Scheduling person not responsive in returning calls and was argumentative with me about an order more than once. This person angrily confronted another staff person about a relatively minor slip-up in my presence. It could/should have been handled in a private, constructive manner. The person confronted is exemplary in her manner with patients, always cheerful, and perfect for her job!

Dr. Kline is a very good Doctor. I am having surgery in his office tomorrow. His upfront staff is really wonderful however he has an employee who is rude beyond belief. I had trouble getting my surgery scheduled. In his office she did not want to schedule it saying she would call. A week later she had not called, left an additional message. Still did not hear and called again. She insisted she did call, raised her voice. There is no message box on the number she claims she left a message
