It is a year since Dr Hayter did a partial knee resurfacing on my right knee. I am in more pain now then before my surgery. His follow up is practically non existent. When I called after a few months to complain that I still couldn’t walk, he prescribed 120 oxycodone pills instead ofwanting to see me. He never called me back to discuss my ongoing problems, even after several calls to get help.I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. I have followed up with two other Ortho doctors and both said that Dr Hayter did the wrong surgery on me, that he never should have done a partial replacement. I will regret using him for the rest of my life. And he REVIEWS these recommendations before he lets them be published!

Excellent in making an appointment and waiting time. After x-rays we’re taken everything found was discussed in detail. We were never rushed and learned a lot about what was actually causing my husband’s pain in his back and legs.

My husband had both hips replaced within 8 weeks of each other. He had literally no bruising with minimal pain. Was walking without a cane within 2 weeks of surgery!

This man is the most uncaring, unsympathetic physician I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He is an egotistical narrcicist who cares nothing for his patients. It is all about the money in his pocket. Do not walk away...RUN,!!

I went to Dr. Hayter for a torn rotator cuff. He never once even looked at my shoulder or recommended anything like therapy or perhaps a shot to alleviate some of the pain. i decided to go to another doctor and asked for my records. His notes are false! He did not do anything he said he did! So glad I stopped going to him! If I would not asked for my records, I would have never known what a liar he is! Please ask for a copy of your office visits and you will see for yourself!

Met him for the first time last month after being recommended to me by a couple of my fellow parishioners at St. Benedict's Church for my knee pain and swelling. Is very knowledgeable about my condition, took time in explaining what was going on , answered my questions and concerns and walked me through the procedure he did to resolve the pain and swelling in my knee. Am very grateful to him for not doing surgery as an option.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, both on the phone and in the office. Dr. Hayter diagnosed my problem immediately and assured me that it would correct itself in a few weeks. He appears to be interested in his patients and there was no feeling of being either rushed or pushed into unnecessary treatment. I will have no qualms about going back to him if the problem does not self correct over time as expected.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Hayter after suffering from severe arthritic swelling and pain. Unlike my previous orthopedist, Dr. Hayter is a highly skilled physician who provided gentle care to my painful knee. Ultimately, a partial knee resurfacing outpatient surgery was done with great success. Done 3 weeks ago, I am virtually pain free. Thank you Dr. Hayter and staff.

I've been a patient of Dr Hayter for 7-8 years. He performed a partial knee replacement on my right knee and 3 years later it's as good as can be. He is the type of doctor that doesn't sugar coat things. He is kind, caring and explains things in easily understood terms. I recently had my left knee partially replaced with another doctor bcuz of insurance issues and didn't experience as speedy a recovery I would urge anyone to see Dr Hayter, I cant imagine finding a better doc

Dr Hayter is an excellent orthopedic surgeon and specialist. I have been his patient for 5 years, for knee surgery, osteoarthritis in knees, spine, and feet, and hip bursitis. I have shown improvement in all areas. My recent partial knee replacement surgery by him has restored use of my knee in less than 10 weeks. His staff is excellent. Dr Hayter is highly skilled and knowledgeable, he truly listens to you, and inspires confidence. I recommend Dr Hayter wholeheartedly.

I first met with Dr Hayter a few years ago as he was recommended to me by a nurse practitioner in my condo complex. I Googled him and his reviews were positive, so I scheduled an appointment. When I met with him he seemed abrasive so I didn't pursue him at that time. Then in the fall of 2017 I had additional issues, so I reached out and he stated that he was in a new place and location. I've had many skeletal issues, heredity, I just realized that I do not have enough characters to share negativ

Dr Hayter gave me back my active lifestyle. I have NO pain in either knee after bilateral partial knee resurfacing in 2014 and 2015. I ride my bicycle 30 to 60 miles a week, I ride my off road bike at Carlton preserve over roots and through holes dug by the wild hogs. For my 60yo birthday I rode my bike from Key Largo to Key West over 2 days and had a blast. Before surgery I had swelling and pain in both knees, on ibuprophen and had to ice my knees after work every day. I LOVE Dr Hayter.

Dr. Hayter began a very thorough exam by asking specific questions about my pain and listening very carefully to my concerns. The physical exam was very thorough as was his review of x - rays and MRI . He fully explained the basis of diagnosis. I especially appreciated the amount of time spent with me during this visit.

Praise God for the people God places in our life. Thank you Suzy Gardner for introducing Dr. Hayter to us. My hubby Tom had his partial knee resurfacing done on August 11th and he was released 17 days later, encouraged to get back to golfing, etc. What an awesome surgeon Dr. Hayter is and his entire staff is spectacular. We are both so thankful for this wonderful experience. Thank you Dr. Hayter & staff. We are blessed.

I was first recommended to make an appointment with this doctor before undergoing a partial knee replacement. Gathered my x-rays and MRI and went to see him. Since my knee was not bone on bone, he was able to help me using new technologies including Stem Cell Therapy and Subcondroplasty. This procedure was performed 7 weeks ago and I have no knee pain!

Sept. 2013 I was trying to find the right Doctor. Interviewed with 3, all told me I needed complete replacements as they would not last 20 years. At the time I was 65. I decided to attend a seminar on partial replacement and chose Dr. Hayter. He was the best choice! In 10 months I had both my knees corrected. 3 Mo later I had new hip using medial approach. I'm pain free! . I skiied this year 2017 without issues and can bike comfortably. I'm in Camp Gladiator 3x per week. Best Doc ever!!

Absolutely the best knowledgeable orthopedic Dr in the Tampa Bay area. I was recommended to Dr Hayter for a hip replacement. He preformed the anterior approach which was very successful. I'm a BIG advocate of Dr Hayter.
