my family incl. my 86 yr old momr visited with Dr. Devere. we found him understanding and patient as the four of us peppered him with questions. he had us complete a short questionnaire about changes in mom's lifestyle/ condition and gave her a short oral "exam" (questions, drawing or identifying some items, etc.) to investigate her mental acuity. he outlined for us the various possible diagnosis, then ordered various medical tests to "confirm" his suspicions. i have received 3 follow up cal

Not impressed. Dr. Devere was dismissive and condescending. Would ask a question then cut me off halfway through explanation with the next question, as if he already knew the answer, but did not seem either care or understand my answers. He's been at it too long. Time to retire. Would not recommend him at all.

He was disrespectful and insulting in his comments about my condition. He had no patience or empathy for a person with anxiety. They also don't answer the phone.
