Dr.Derr is a wonderful doctor with an expertise in bedside manner. I got a 9first time) cortisone shot in my knee yesterday and it was painless and the knee is doing much better today. I would recommend Dr.Derr to anyone who is experiencing bone or joint issues.

During every exam or medical consult I have had with Dr. Derr over the past 9 years, he has always been exceptionally kind and patient, listening and answering my questions. His diagnosis and any necessary treatment have been conservative, minimal. As a D.O., Dr. Derr considers the muscles and tissues of the foot, not just the bones. I have heard from other friends that their surgeries by Dr. Derr were successful. I recommend Dr. Derr to anyone of any age, he is a wonderful physician. And the Bone and Joint Institute's new facility in Franklin, TN is fabulous!

Dr. Derr operated on broken fibia, tibia x two. The fracture was complex. Three plates, a wire and screw were surgically placed in the ankle. I am blessed to have Dr. Derr as a doctor. He is a highly skilled surgeon, and professional.

I drove 1 hour for my Dr. appt at the new office. When arrived I was not on Dr. Derr's appointment list (no fault of Dr. Derr). I could be worked in at 3:00, my appointment was at 9:45, I was not going to wait that long. Dr. Derr is a fantastic Dr. and I have been going to him for several years. I hate this happened and I will be finding another Dr. closer to home

Very efficient Chechen and short wait times. Dr. Derr was very friendly and informative. Checked my ankle which had an Achilles’ tendon injury and he determined it wasn’t as serious as I thought, so he gave me stretching exercises, had me ice it and keep a boot on for a couple of weeks to stabilize it. Very satisfied with my care and the entire staff was great. Beautiful offices as well and all the facilities they need. Highly recommend.

Very long wait. Had a 2:30 appointment and arrived on time with paperwork completed online ahead of time. Waited for 45 minutes and after being brought back to the exam room waited another 35 minutes. The doctor apologized and was polite and didn’t rush through my exam. Next appointment will be scheduled early morning. Dr. was patient and listened to my complaints about my leg and seemed knowledgeable. I plan to return for a follow up appointment for the same issue.
