My husband was told by our physician that my husband had a suspicious malignant tumor in his pancreas. Dr. DeMatteo came highly recommended. The quality and thoroughness of his approach is brilliant. He's analytical and decisive. He takes the time necessary with his patients and addresses any concerns. His team is so responsive. Dr. DeMatteo is a rare jewel in the medical community.

I recently had a liver resection with Dr. DeMatteo. ( October 14, 2016).. From the initial visit to discuss my surgery and the post Op meeting Dr. Dematteo was very patient, explained everything and answered every email i sent him prior to surgery, including those on a Sunday morning.. The surgery went very well and I was visited twice a day every day without fail by his designated and very competent Fellows... After only two weeks from my surgery, my incision is healing beautifully..
