No like hood of recommending him. When I asked about options other than meds he said he did not know they were. When I asked about seeing a doctor, a plastic surgeon that had a high success rate with a surgery, for a second opinion, he simply laughed and made fun of the other doctor, saying he was not a real doctor. His nurse was very rude on the phone and had to file a complaint against her. Once I did go to see the other doctor Dr Brilla wrote and sent a letter trying to blacklist me from UW.

Dr Brilla was flippant and ignored my complaints. He said I should become a "health nut", lose weight and exercise and stop taking my pain meds for a condition called Chiari Malformation.....a condition he was not sure I had. He said he would look at my MRI, which he never did. In the mean time, my condition worsened and I had a stroke. Luckily, I saw a specialist in Milwaukee that listened and is willing to treat me. UW is still insisting I pay my bill! NOPE!

Personable, engaging, interested in my care. He has been administering Botox to me for migraines and is my husband's primary neurologist for epilepsy. Never a problem.
