This content was provided by Dr. Raithatha "Dr. Roheen Raithatha graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia & Cornell Campus)/Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center and then went on to complete a Fellowship in Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY. His surgical specialties include: septoplasty/turbinate surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery (including image guided sinus surgery), revision (re-do) sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty (in-office or in operating room), nasal polyps, fungal sinusitis, nasal and sinus tumors, endoscopic skull base surgery, repair of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks, and endoscopic orbital surgery. Dr. Raithatha is board-certified from the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has authored numerous book chapters and articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to give lectures at multiple Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery courses. He has also made academic presentations at the national level to many professional societies. He is an active member of the American Rhinologic Society, North American Skull Base Society, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is currently on faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is also a member of the ENT & Allergy Advanced Sinus/Skull Base Center."
