Dr. Kurlan helped me a lot, he is the best doctor I ever met ! His level of knowledge, concern and experience is unbelievable. His consultation gave me lifechanging experience. Many thanks to Dr. Kurlan
Dr. Kurlan could care less about my 89 y.o. mother & his final words to her were "Good Luck"; despicable. She is now under another doctor's care who has helped her significantly. She could not tolerate the medication and dosage he prescribed to her & so she was on no medication. Now she is on a time-released medication that has helped her a lot. He never tested her during her appointments. If you need help, DO NOT GO to him

Bedside manor was poor and found him to be rude and brished off issues.
My relatives & I found Dr. Kurlan to be lacking in his bedside manner. Before the exam I voiced my concerns about a particular disease & he told me I can't have it because I'm too young (despite a celebrity spokesman being 6 years younger than me at the time of his diagnosis). He told me that my new symptoms are due to mental illness & I need a therapist. He even told me that I don't have a movement disorder I was diagnosed with years ago, even though he didn't do a proper work up for it.
