Dr Gammon saved my life in 2006. I entered the emergency room having a heart attack. It was the end of the day shift & Dr. Gammon was just leaving, but he came back and placed 2 stents. My husband had poor circulation to his feet and was about to loose a toe, but Dr. Gammon managed to get circulation increased & my husband didn't loose his toe. Dr Gammon has remarkable patience and skills.

Dr. Gammon is a highly skilled cardiologist and was able to perform laser a procedure that most other doctors weren't qualified to do. The outcome of that procedure allowed me to avoid a major surgery. Dr. Gammon has since kept me on a health regimen that keeps my lab results and heart health in the best shape in 25 years.

As always...Dr. Gammon was very professional. He has already implanted a stint in my right leg... and the circulation greatly improved. While I'm not wanting another one done (ie: on my left leg)... if it becomes necessary -- I'm glad that Dr. Gammon is the person that will be doing it. He represents Austin Heart Hospital very well. Also, his Physician's Assistant, Joanna Brand is very professional in her handling of some of my visits to AHH. I feel very comfortable with both of them.

Dr. Gammon is an outstanding cardio guy. He has one thing on his mind, that is the health and welfare of the patient. I firmly believe if you have a cardio-vascular problem, this is the go to guy.. Their testing equipment and facility is top of the line. Dr. Gammon's PA (Joanna) is a real professional and character, she calls it the way she sees it. He has a top notch staff and facility. There are several M.D.'s much closer than Austin Heart, but I will continue to drive the two hours.
