Caring doctor, past his prime
I've gone to Dr. Cass for several years, and I'm impressed with his committment to his patients. He clearly takes his work seriously and will spend extra time and effort to investigate problems. He never recommends commercial products or unnecessary medication. Unfortunately, it's time that he retired. Over the years I've been with him, he's grown increasingly vague. He asks the same questions visit after visit with no indication that he's recorded past answers. More recently, he's started repeating himself, and it's difficult to get his attention. He doesn't discuss side effects from medications, which has led to scary situations for my partner (also a patient). Dr. Cass also usually talks from behind his laptop and doesn't make eye contact or acknowledge my responses. Given that he doesn't seem to have good notes on previous visits, I have to wonder what he's doing back there. The office's punctuality could also be better. On busy days, waits can extend to over an hour.

Hands down the best doctor and staff I have ever worked with. They are thorough, competent, engaged and a well-oiled machine. If you are the type of patient who is in a rush, look elsewhere. But if you want your health to be carefully monitored by a caring staff, then this is the practice for you!

Absolutely no way would I recommend him. Saw him 3 or 4 times. Every time was like the first. He asks the same questions. Very annoying. Should retire.

Most Drs have lost the “human” aspect with having large practices. This is not my experience here. Dr Cass is extremely thorough. He reads your chart at every visit, listens to what you have to say, and does examine you. Initially I thought his age would hinder my treatment, the treatment I have received is quite the opposite.
