My husband had an appointment with Dr Chirinos due to a white patch on his tongue. Dr Chirinos walked into the exam room NEVER introduced himself and said “ let me see this spot on your tongue” he stated you shouldn’t have come here you need to go to an oral surgeon. My husband is going to need a biopsy. Gave us the name of an oral surgeon and walked out of the room. I wouldn’t take my dog to this so called doctor. What a rude arrogant person. He calls himself a doctor. I’m sure he wouldn’t want his family treated the way he treated my husband.

Follow up after a visit is almost non-existent. When cultures are taken, the office seems to never follow up to review results leaving you wondering. Also, the practice of throwing various types of antibiotics at something is like throwing darts with a blind fold on. Need actual consultation and understanding with follow up.

Understandably Dr. Chirinos is limited to how much time he can spend with each patient, but simply replying "No" and walking out of the room after I asked if I could ask another question is unacceptable. A better response would have been, "I'm sorry but I've run out of time for this visit. If you'll schedule another appointment, we can address the rest of your questions."

Waited 1:15 to be seen for a biopsy. Over 1 week later results were in, but it took 3 days of phone tag to find out they were positive. Now, one week and counting since I received the results, I'm still waiting for a referral for surgery, and the unreturned phone call game has started again. I left a message over a week ago for Dr. Chirinos to call me and, to date, he has not. I feel like his office has no concern for me whatsoever.

This doctor is a genius!! I can't tell you how many other dermatologists & PAs have made unnecessary biopsies on me over the past three years. He took his time during our consult and answered all of my questions. I don't think twice about the 45 minute drive to see this doctor.
