Definitely find another Doctor!
Dr. Lutz banned me from the clinic for things that happened only in his mind. We left thinking we had found a wonderful new wound Dr. for me but 18 days later I received a very strange letter accusing me of things I never did while there and not following treatment protocol, which I was. My wife was with me the entire time I was there and we both knew none of it happened. The letter banned me from treatment by him and anyone else in the practice he was associated with. We are both well educated and retired from NCSU. The next time I saw him I presented him wih a rebuttal letter insisting none of this had happened, that we start anew, and that he withdraw the letter. When he said no, I told him we would be going to war over that falsehood being in my record. He said he would try to get it taken out. As we were leaving I asked an old staff member if this had happened to other patients - exact answer: "Yes, from time to time." I sure got blindsided by his delusions. Beware!

Dr. Lutz and the staff at the Rex Wound Healing Center in Knightdale were very kind and easy to talk to. They also seemed very knowledgeable about my condition, and were able to hep my peace of mind as much as my physical health. They also seemed to be very knowledgeable about navigating the world of health insurance, knowing what I would need to do for my insurance company to okay the procedures I needed. Overall I would say that they are very compassionate and very knowledgeable. If you have to go see them, you will be in good hands.

Dr. Lutz is a great doctor. My foot was not healing very well and he figured out the problem and now it is almost healed. I would recommend anyone to go to him. He is very easy to talk to and the staff there at the wound clinic are great too.

Dr. Lutz is one of the most kindness, pleasing personality and knows exactly what he is doing for you. No one of course don't want to go to the Doctor unless you have to, but actually I look forward going, Nurse Wendy and Dr. Lutz makes you not want to leave. They really care about you and they take as much time as they need with you. When you call in they get right back with you. I like the way Dr. Lutz when he come into my room you are already nervous and his personality calm you right on down and the issue don't seem half as bad. Even when it's raining outside Dr. lutz come in the room like a ray of sunshine. Then he get straight to my issue. When I don't understand and Dr. Lutz have to repeat it again Dr. Lutz don't seem to be irritated or bother by it. Dr. Lutz loves his patients and I thank Dr. Lutz for taking care of me.
