Dr. Rodney Kratz, MD

On Feb 1, 2021, I went to visit Dr. Kratz for Hemorrhoid stage 4 attack treatment. It has caused me excruciating pain, bleeding and possible life-threatening in last 3 days since incident happened over the weekend. I am extremely upset without any treatment that I received from Dr. Kratz. Additionally, I provided my hemorrhoid emergency statement to the nurse before Dr Kratz came to see me into the room. Thus, I am afraid that I was too painful to express myself clearly. I am very disappointed with my visit. Dr. Kratz performed a normal routine conversation and no immediate action to stop my hemorrhoid pain and suffer. He just sent me home by giving me 3-day painkillers prescription and ask me to come back to see him in a month. Then he would like to discuss with me other hemorrhoid surgery options and colonoscopy due this year. It is totally irresponsible and unprofessional doctor. I was lucky to find Dr.Mitra Ehsan to treat me right away after my emergency call.

Dr. Kratz is an expert, highly experienced surgeon who did an excellent job with my fissure issue. Procedure was a breeze and recovery too. Wish I had done it a long time ago. I think a lot of reviewers are looking for therapy rather than a surgeon (which with these problems I can see that would help too) but remember you are looking for a surgeon for their technical expertise which Dr. Kratz definitely has.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Kratz on 10-16-18 he went over the procedure and what to expect. I had surgery on the 18th,was out of the hospital on the 21st and walking 2 miles a day by the 22nd. Dr. Kratz was both professional and personal and would strongly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Kratz was the surgeon for my colectomy and did an excellent job. He also was very helpful in explaining the recovery process after the fact.

Dr. Kratz is the best ! He is very down to earth, personable, and easy to communicate with. He explains what I need to know and is very thorough with his exams and proceedures performed. He has been my colon healthcare provider for many years and I wouldn't go anywhere else for this type of care. I strongly recommend Dr. Kratz !

Dr Kratz is rad. I'm was referred to him after a history of IBS that left me with bleeding internal hemorrhoids, agonizing recurrent fissures, and embarrassing large external skin tags. Dr. Kratz is super sympathetic. After doing several bandings for internal hemorrhoids, I decided to have the tags and fissure area removed, a procedure with a very painful recovery. He did a great job and made me feel comfortable throughout. Also easy to get appointments with, and not too much wait. Thank you!!!

My husband's visit with Dr. Kratz was painful and unhelpful. Dr. Kratz informed my husband that he would be needing surgery with no empathy. He then cancelled the surgery to take time off. We're panicking, trying to find another surgery.

Nice and professional staff, Dr. Kratz is super nice, makes you feel comfortable and a great all around Dr. and person. You will leave content and like he cares about your health.

Was referred to Dr. Kratz by another Dr. Found Dr. Kratz not interested in what I was going through and the pain that I had for 4 months. Doesn't not communicate well to the patient.. Wrote out a $90.00 compound cream - [that I'd been using for 2+months & wasn't 'working' !!], and referred me to P.T and wouldn't tell me why he was sending me there [they'll explain it to you.. REALLY [??!!] Would Never recommend this Dr.-- Arrogant - [& must have been absent for 'bedside manner' class]
