I would not recommend Dr. Watine. I chose him because my previous doctor in the same office retired and he was fast to get a appointment. There is a reason for this. He was not friendly. Tryed to shake his hand (I know during flu season). He stared at it like a leper for 30 seconds making an uncomfortable situation. 2nd appoint I waited in the exam room for 1 hr. I left. A nurse said the dr. Should be with u soon. I said I'm leaving. Found the closet exit and walked out. Horrible experience.

After spending the last year getting injections in my back and knees without improvement I reached out to Dr. Watine, an Internal Medicine Specialist in Hermitage, for help. After reviewing my history, he ordered testing including a CT scan that confirmed a large ventral hernia. He referred me to Dr. Marcelli, an amazing General Surgeon who completed the surgery and left me pain free. Dr. Watine was so very thorough and an amazing diagnostician. I would recommend him very highly.

First I must say that I came to Dr. Watine with a long record of not being able to find a doctor for the past year. So I was a bit hesitate with my first visit....The visit starts with the front staff. They all were very friendly and professional. Set me at ease. The RN was friendly and knowledgeable. Was cheerful and patient... Dr. Watine's approach is quiet and reassuring. He talked to me professionally instead of assuming I knew nothing of my own health chanllenges.

He is very caring and considerate. He spends extra time with me and my family, both in the office and when I was in the hospital. I read the comment from Mr George, how terrible to speak of such a kind and compassionate physician. He is from Florida, and he did see patients in different nursing homes and several hospitals. And that's the point, he saw his patients in the nursing homes and the hospitals. He didn't use the staff doctors. I wholeheartedly endorse Dr Watine.
