My entire career, of more than 30 years, has been spent caring for the people of Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. I don't see my profession as a job, but as a calling. I believe I must always treat my patients as family. I hold professional memberships in the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Arkansas Medical Society. I believe in continuing to educate myself on the latest surgical trends and technologies so I can continue to treat my patient population with quality care.
When not at work, I enjoy volunteering with the Rotary Club. I received the "Service Above Self" award from Rotary, an award that is only given to 150 people in the world each year. I also enjoy volunteering alongside my wife, Mary Ellen, at a faith-based charitable clinic. I am a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro, AR.
