Great surgeon! Explained to me exactly what I needed and he followed it up with a successful surgery! I would send my friends and family to him...he is very knowledgeable and straight forward with expectations. I had an open lumbar fusion L5-S1, currently 12 months out and I’ve never felt better.

My experience with Dr. Vraney was exceptional. He took the time to explain to me what was causing my issues and the options to help alleviate. I had back pain for many years and ended up with a lateral fusion (XLIF)...my results have been amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. Vraney to all I know. I’ve read the one star reviews and I’m blown away...obviously not everyone will be happy but I can attest to a phenomenal outcome.

Great dr and wonderful staff. Would recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain. He is very knowledgeable, direct and to the point but knows what he is doing and treated me and my family with respect! Never had to wait longer than 30 mins start to finish that included getting X-rays! Top notch care and nurse always has a smile on face and make me feel comfortable!

Worst orthopedic surgeon in Evansville,Indiana he did an L5,S1 open decompression fusion on me in November 2017 haven't been able to return to work since having this horrible surgery done. He has the worst bedside manner of any doctor that I have ever encountered. I have worked as a respiratory therapist for the last 20 years in Evansville,Indiana and have worked with some awesome doctors.I followed up with him for 1 year after my surgery and did everything he ask of me including therapy and spi

Always prompt with visits. Definitely knows what he's doing. Helped me make the best choice for my back after I couldn't take it anymore. A spinal fusion is something I never want to endure again but if I had to, he would be my first pick of docs. Follow his orders and expect the best. It's a 2 way street.

My experience with Dr. Vraney and his staff was excellent. I had an XLIF fusion surgery in July 2018 and he was very thorough about the procedure and all of the preparation leading up to the surgery. For all of the skepticism there is about back surgery, I must say my results for relief from back pain were extraordinary. I could not walk upright before my surgery and now I completely pain free 6 months after. Thank you for giving my quality of life back to me!

Dr. Vraney was an excellent surgeon in my case. He was informative and very detailed about what needed to be done. The after care information was very helpful. I have read some negative comments on his bedside manner, but I found it to be refreshing that he was very direct and to the point. I would recommend him to friends and family. The outcome of my surgery was everything I had hoped for.

He is a great doctor/surgeon. I just had back surgery three weeks ago and I am doing great. I had a big cyst on the bottom of my spine and degenerating discs. He removed the cyst and put screws in my disc that was pulling away from spine. I had really bad sciatica, and now it is gone. The surgery, hospital and follow up were great! I got my staples out today.
