He's a ahwith a terrible bedside manner he doesn't give you chance to talk he doesn't check you out he just sits on a stool looks with an x-ray tells you to go take therapy and that's it I had to have back surgery and hip surgery he's worthless

In the past 13 years I have played Racquetball, ran 5 Mini Marathons and played competitive Pickleball. But for the last year I had been plagued with lower back pain and in physical therapy. PT no longer worked and I was placed with Dr Vraney. I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease and Scoliosis. Within 2 weeks I had 3 disc replaced and a rod to straighten the Scoliosis. Two weeks after I'm walking 1 1/2 miles, 5 weeks out I'm walking 5 miles daily. I am blessed to have found Dr Vraney!

Dr. Vraney is to the point with you, and i like that. He did a very serious surgery on me and i never worried because of the information that he gave to me. Dr. Vraney was a life saver for me and he totally treated me with respect.

My experience with Dr. Vraney was extremely positive! He took the time to answer all my questions regarding my back surgery and went out of his way to perform the surgery quickly. I highly recommend him.

I would recommend Dr. Vraney to anyone. He is a straight shooter. He listened and was very concerned about my complaints and took time to explain the results of his examination to me. He recently performed back surgery on me and the pain I was experiencing before surgery is already gone. I want to thank him for giving me back my life. Best doctor ever. Also, I want to give a big shout out to the staff at Deaconesss Hospital for taking such good care of me after surgery.

At my first appointment, I wasn't very impressed with Dr. Vraney, but to be fair, I was late for the appointment, which was rude. At subsequent visits, I was pleased to find him to be attentive, answered all my questions, prescribed helpful therapy, and he monitored my condition until it was time to refer me to a more specialized physician for surgery.
in Evansville, IN |
I found Dr Vraney to be the most rude and condescending doctor I have ever meet. He took no time to explain things to me and when I asked some questions he told me I was too focused on the terminology. When I used the words bulging disk he proceeded to interrupt me and said who told you you had a bulging disk? That is a dirty word in my office and no one in this office would had use that term. I would not recommend him to anyone and I am certainly not returning to see him.
in Vincennes, IN |
Have the upmost trust in Dr. Vraney as a surgeon, but he can be pompous and dismissive towards ovther professionals in charge of my care. My main complaint is that I never feel during the appointment that he is listening to me; rather, he already has a care plan made up for me before he enters the room and whatever I tell him just seems to be ignored.
