I went to see him after having more than a week of pain in my leg/lower back with two trips to the ER. The symptoms were similar to my previous issue and I needed back surgery for that one. He did a great job on that surgery but when I visited him yesterday he spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and said he could not see anything on the MRI that could be causing this issue. He barely evaluated me further than asking what brought me in. I went to the ER next door (third visit to an ER in seven days for this issue) and the ER doc did more for me than Dr. Stuart did. The ER doc took time to ask me questions and accurately diagnosed the issue as sciatic nerve pain and referred me to a spine institute for resolution/pain management. This is something that Dr. Stuart should have been able to diagnose/treat or recommend treatment for. I am extremely disappointed in his lack of care in this situation especially since he did so well during my last issue. will never recommend him again

Dr. Stuart is one of the most thorough, expert physicians I have ever consulted. He fully explains your condition, corrective actions to be taken, the potential outcome. He is personally involved in every stage of treatment and does everything possible to insure a positive outcome. I had a very serious condition. Surgery corrected it and my recovery was swift and complete...to where I was in better shape than I had been for years. His staff is dedicated. I highly recommend Dr. Stuart.

Dr.Stuart has performed surgery on me twice . He has accomplished what no other doctor has . He goes above and beyond and is extremely articulate in his treatment plan. In my opinion he is the best in his field . I would never use another neurosurgeon.

I ended up getting a second opinion from another doctor after Dr Stuart said pain management was the only option I had at this point. When the second doctor did surgery, he found multiple bone fragments floating in my neck around the bone spur that needed to be removed. I have minimal pain now and I am not even a month out of surgery. I recommend that Doctors take a little more time listening to their patients besides spending 5 minutes the first time and 9 minutes the second visit.
