I have to say that both mine and my family members experiences with this doctor have been bad. My mother and I both suffer from Hypothyroidism, and hormone issues. Such an attentive and caring doctor. Honest and thorough. He never makes you feel dumb for asking questions and he truly listens to his patients. You sometimes have to book appointments a few weeks out, but it's worth the wait. Highly recommend.

I've been a patient of Dr Smitherman for years. He's a very good doctor that takes the time to listen to you and get to the bottom of what it is that ailes you. My Son sees him as well. A great doctor with awesome nurse practitioners and phlebotomists! ????????????????????

Terrible. I am filing grievance with State if Tx Medical Board and USMD. He is more concerned about making money than effective patient care.

Dr. Smitherman, himself was fine. However, it is nearly impossible to speak with anyone without being on hold for at least 20 min. Also, refills of prescriptions are next to impossible to receive. It's not worth the hassle which is a shame because I really like the doc.
