Missed an important diagnosis with me that nearly killed me. Just had me taking steroids for AYEAR.. Then referred me to a very inept Urologist. Dr. Schultz is a nice guy but I do not recommend his professional services at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shultz for over 20 years now. I am an RN at the hospital where he works, and I chose him to be my doctor out of the respect I gained for him seeing how he treated the patients and their families. He was always polite, respectful, courteous and proactive. He has helped me and my family as he is now the GI for all of us. I credit him for saving my father's life when he came to the hospital at 3 AM and stopped my father's ulcer form bleeding. We will be forever thankful!

Dr. Schultz and his wonderful nurse Christine Trout was friendly and always focused on clearly describing what was going on with my body and the prognosis. The staff was also very professional and easy to work with. Both Dr Schultz and Christine Trout took the time to answer my questions and made it clear that I can contact them any time with any additional questions I had.

My experience with this practice has not been positive. For starters I have never had a visit with Dr. Shultz. The only time I've ever seen him is when he performed my endoscopic procedure...which I woke up from. My biggest issue is that I ended up having H-Pylori. Instead of the office notifying me immediately, they had me wait for a two week follow up appointment before starting treatment. After the treatment I tested positive for H-Pylori and they still did not notify me immediately.

The staff is excellent and very friendly. They are very professional. The problem is with Dr. Shultz. He is not a good listener and comes across of just trying to hurry you out the door. He has his own mindset and no concerns for his patients or at least with me. Also, he became verbally abusive and yelling when he talked to me over the phone because of his lack of understanding. He does not do his read up on his patents and you have to keep repeating things to him.
