I have been dealing with an ankle injury for approximately 6 weeks. I was only recently referred to Dr. Saltzman after my previous doctor said he doesn't see anything wrong with my ankle and doesn't know why I'm having pain. Dr. Saltzman took time to explain possible causes for the pain I am experiencing and answered my questions. He is a doctor I will definitely go back to for any and all follow-ups and injuries.

Easy to communicate with. Great bedside manner. His team is very involved in care plan.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Saltzman. I have been to him many times over the years, for different issues. My husband is a new patient. Dr. Saltzman is always friendly, professional and extremely easy to talk to. He doesn't rush you. He gives you easy to understand answers and both of us recommend him highly.
in Eldersburg, MD |
He's funny, he does a good work, not a lot of hassle and just over all I never minded going to see him! I know the first person I will call if I need surgery again!
in Lochearn, MD |
He!s awesome! He's very knowledgeable about his specialty. The radiologist and physicians assistant missed the problem on the MRI. Therefore, I thought I would have to walk around the rest of my life w/ what the latter two called typical aging issues. But, Dr. Saltzman literally identified my problem (torn meniscus) did my surgery and now I'm on the road to recovery! I'm cured!!!! I think he's the best! And you would too if you need a great oryhopaedic doctor!
in Sykesville, Md |
Had hip replacement. Thought Dr. Saltzman was excellent. He always took us on time or even earlier than our appointment time. He was always eager to answer any questions that we had and never tried to rush us out of his office. He always treated us respectfully.

If he can't do surgery, he doesn't want to help you at all
in Baltimore, MD |
Dr. Saltzman replaced my right knee. I had a wonderful experience with him. He is a fabulous doctor and I would recommend him for any orthopedic procedures.
in Westminster, MD |
My experience was the absolute worst. It was disgraceful the way he treated me. I had x rays taken at an urgent care facility and they seen problems with my back and referred me to him.. He dismissed my pain, perhaps because I am 23 and he thought he could treat me disrespectfully. He was beyond rude. His diagnosis was, I don't sense a problem take some anti inflammatory. Did not even look at my x-rays until after a call was made to the office to complain. Now I have to find another doctor.

I have used him for several different reasons. Now I am using him for a shoulder injury that happen on a job with Savon Contracting which are disputing the injury due to have to pay an extra dollar or two a year for workmans comp rates he has stood up to every expectation nm getting ready to go back to see him for same injury due to 27 billion dollar Travelers Insurance Company making up lies to not pay a $5,000 claim do you 227 billion dollar Travelers Insurance Company making up lies to not pay
Westminster |
Very arrogant. Kept my husband waiting for more than an hour, then completely dismissed his pain and told him he was just getting old. He was wrong- several other doctors have confirmed that there is something wrong with my husband's knee and foot. Dr. Saltzman was rude, disrespectful and incompetent. Doctors are human and make mistakes, but there's no excuse for unprofessional behavior.
Very little compassion from Dr. Salltzman. Bed side manner can use a lot of help. Had surgery on my ankle and still waiting 10 days later to get a simple note for my job. The constant voicemail and messages at the office is ridiculous and still have not had a returned phone call after 3 messages. Find another doctor!
