At my first appointment with him after an accident he saw my injury, determined I needed surgery and also said he's going on vacation tomorrow so he can't do it. He referred me to someone else in Tahoe Orthopedics and I had to do it all over again... pay for another office visit, show a 2nd surgeon the injury, and get on the surgery schedule. Dr. Rupp should not have seen me if he couldn't help me!

He is the best orthopedic doctor around. He is so patient with me every visit, never acts rushed. He always gets to the root of the problem and never leaves me feeling like I'm crazy for thinking somethings wrong. He took exceptional care of me during my hip surgery, and follow up, and is now taking exceptional care of me while we fix my banged up knee. His entire staff is amazing. His PA is so knowledgeable and has always taken great care of me. They both do painless injections.

We very much appreciate the excellent care our 24 year old son received from Dr. Rupp, in two surgeries for injuries suffered in ski accidents in two consecutive years. He was very thorough in explaining the surgeries to be performed, how the surgeries went, and both surgeries (knee & rotator cuff) had excellent results. We felt very fortunate and grateful to have had such a skilled and personable surgeon available for our son.

Dr. Rupp is kind, considerate, and smart. He really knows what he's doing, and I've been satisfied with his medical recommendations. I had my ACL repaired, as well as some ligament smoothing, and have been happy with the results!

Dr. Rupp has performed two total hip replacements for me over the past year. My most recent one was just five weeks ago and my recovery has been remarkable. Dr. Rupp uses the anterior approach, which I highly recommend. A small incision is made on the front of the hip, resulting in very little muscle displacement. I unequivocally recommend Dr. Rupp for your surgery needs.

While on vacation in Tahoe I broke my arm. Dr. Rupp was my surgeon. He answered my questions and made me feel comfortable that the surgery would be a success. Which it was! During my follow up visits he has been encouraging with my progress and has given advice for further healing. I would Highly Recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon!

Dr. Rupp was very easy to get into see - I had an MRI done and was able to get in within 48 hours. While I hear he is very good, he says very little. My MRI indicated a number of issues and was painful. Dr. Rupp said very little and rushed me through with his PA. He spent no time talking about my poor long term diagnosis, no time talking about what I could do to alleviate the discomfort. Recommended a $1,000 injection of a material that lasts 6 months and left. The PA administered it.
