Had knee replacement surgery done by Dr Ruggerio,Sr. Fell and had to have Patella repaired. Still in a lot of pain. At office visits he spent time talking about how much I looked like one of his friends wife. Didn’t seem at all concerned that I was still in a lot of pain. At last office visit he mumbled something as he was leaving the room. I couldn’t hear all of it but I could tell it wasn’t a nice comment. Haven’t been and won’t go back.

The time I spend waiting is alot longer then the amount of time he spends with me. I have noticed he always seems to be in a hurry and has even answered his cell phone in front of me. I have come with questions in my post op appointments and find I get more out of the nurse. As my surgery seems to have been a success, I would appreciate more feedback and to feel important when it's my time.

Dr. Ruggiero Sr is a very competent and professional physician who I’ve seen for more than 10 years. He communicates well all the important information and provides personal care. He is not as communicative as some on my other physicians but when you draw him out you realize how knowledgeable he is and is using cutting edge medical intervention!

Dr Ruggiero Sr took me as a new patient after 3 prior surgeries to my knee. He took the time to review my MRI in full and with me, and then performed my fourth surgery. This time addressing the issues surrounding my constant pain. I trust Dr R Sr and this office as they honestly listen and then work with you.

Dr Ruggiero Sr did a full knee replacement on right knee in September 2015. He is a great coach as to working with his parents on how to regain the full use and movement of ones knee. Dr knew when to take me off those pain killers. I thank him for that. A remarkable Doctor who loves what he does helping people to get back to living life. I need my right knee done in the future and he will be doing it.

How did the doctor lose an operative report? Office staff is rude uncaring and not professional. As a result went to another orthopedic surgeon for major surgery and was very pleased.
