My husband and I have been patients of Doctors Robert Rothstein and Kim Staiman Rothstein for decades, and note that theirs was the first doctor's office in the neighborhood to address the needs of distancing and air purifiers as the pandemic began. They employ a cadre of well trained pleasant assistants, and both Doctors Rothstein are up to date on advances in opthalmology and well equipped with the most modern tools of their trade. When necessary, they enlist second opinions of one another for better understandings of some problems. Aside from their exceptional knowledge, the sincere caring and empathy expressed by both doctors for their patients makes them tremendously popular. We highly recommend them.

Extremely long waiting time. Never come as a emergency patient referred by another doctor. Literally waited 6 hours and they kept pushing back the my serial number to give priority to others. The staffs are friendly but terrible terrible management in the office. The doctor always running behind on seeing the patient. The office is supposed to be closed at 5pm but even after getting out at 8pm, I have seen others are still waiting to be seen. Another disappointment is that they kept changing my appointment scheduled from in-person to telemedicine and never heard from them again. I highly don't recommend this doctor. People have life they can't be waiting 6 hours for 2 mins conversation with the doctor.

Very very very knowledgeable, nice doctor with a very warm and considerate staff... HOWEVER.... - long, long, long wait in the office to see him. If you are not his first appointment of the day, get ready. I've waiting 3 and 4 hours. Feels degrading. I see another review said the person was there 6 hours. I believe it. - he is quick (so many other people waiting). not a lot of explanations. "just trust me" type of attitude. Does good work but doesn't spend time - feel rushed. - it's like a factory in there. People waiting in 4 treatment rooms, as well as the waiting room. He is going from room to room. This leads to a dismissive type of feeling for the patient.

He was in and out of the room, seeing so many others or on the phone. Spent 6 hrs there and left with no diagnosis, told me to "go home and come back in a month, maybe it will get better." It did not,my eye lid kept immobil, still can not open it! He could've sent to another specialist instead of telling me to go home. Avoid this man, can not be called a doctor!

From the time you walk in the front desk will make things easy. The staff knows their stuff and will handle you with care. Dr. Rothstein leaves nothing to chance in his exam. He will explain his findings and answer all questions in a way you will understand. He will let you know the best way to go forward in your care. The waiting room and offices are kept in way that gives you confidence in the treatment you are about to recieve. On the way out you will know you saw a fine doctor.

I'm pleased to have Dr. Robert Rothstein as my daughter's ophthalmologist. He is knowledgeable, professional, and most important compassionate and humanitarian with his patients. He's been treating my daughter for few months and he has been on top of her illness, always making sure her glaucoma was controlled/healed. I highly recommend Dr. Rothstein as he is remarkable with the treatments he has provided to my child. His staff is kind and helpful making our visits pleasant.

I had a terrible experience with EYENAMICS NY. The clinic ran like a factory, and I felt I’d made a terrible mistake choosing that clinic. Overall, my experience with Dr. Rothstein at this clinic was terrible, and I would not recommend Dr. Rothstein. Also, I plan to write the details of the situation to my health insurance company.

Fresh Meadows, NY – Jul 04, 2017
He should be sent back to the med school for him to learn ophthalmology. Even after 2 visits and sitting in front of all his machines, supposedly to test my eye problem, he couldn't come up with the diagnosis or a treatment plan for my diplopia. I even subjected myself to an MRI and an advanced blood work, but he admittedly ignorant in reading the MRI report. I am sure he collected the insurance money through my 2 visits to his clinic and by making me sitting in front of all his machines.
