Dr. Reid and his staff quickly scheduled all of my testing as soon as my bone marrow abnormality was detected. He called me to explain the upcoming testing regimen and the possibilities. I had an appointment 10 days later to review my results and treatment. Dr. Reid and his staff are very responsive, so kind and very easy to talk to. I would recommend him to family and friends for treatment. He also has an excellent reputation which is why my rheumatologist referred me to him a few years ago.

Dr Robert Reid, Oncologist is exceptional: Great skills, compassion and critical care helped me survive Stage 4 Blood/Bone cancer all over with the left arm rendered jello by the vicious largest cancer mass and had permeated Cervical 3 & 6; the Thyroid & entire body. Extremely cautious about my choice of doctors, but Dr Reid’s state-of-the-art knowledge; perfect bedside manners; and a well conducted strict 24 hour regimen encompassing me with a highly qualified medical team great facilities and the latest Government-approved cocktail of medications/treatment. Dr. Reid discusses the pros and cons of treatment and always does what is best for me that coincides with the research my families in Australia/India/UK/Canada have. Seven years later, he and his wonderful medical staff provide up-to-the-second advice and assistance, if needed, to include that these are covered and met now in retirement and through Medicare. Truly, Dr. Reid and his staff are gems. Vive La Virginia Specialists!

have been a patient of Dr. Reid’s for 18 years. He diagnosed me with a somewhat rare blood disorder, Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome, after other hematologists were not able to. He carefully managed me through extremes in my disorder, he helped to get myself & my 2 daughters successfully through 2 pregnancies, and has continued to treat me with superb care recently. I can not say enough wonderful things about him. I have worked for almost 2 decades as a labor & delivery nurse & I have seen countless tragic outcomes related to blood conditions in pregnancy. Dr. Reid is by far the best provider you could ever choose to manage your care. God bless him!!

I would recommend Dr. Reid very highly. He has treated me for two types of lymphoma. The first treatment was very successful and the second is underway. Dr. Reid is very open and clear in his discussion of the medical problems I have experienced and in answering my questions. He is thorough in prescribing tests for diagnoses and to rule in or rule out suspected problems. In short, I am very pleased to be Dr. Reid's patient and look forward to working with him in the treatment of my disease.

On my visit to Dr. Reid on 19feb2021, I had a blood test and we discussed some disturbing side effects of ibrutimib, which I started taking on 01feb2021. Dr. Reid confirmed that a lump in my groin had nearly disappeared and suggested that we maintain the dosage, but continue to closely monitor these issues.
