Dr. Murdock takes time to listen carefully to me about the medicines and my life issues. He is responsive to my feedback and always returns my phone calls. He is respectful, kind, and obviously caring. He's an expert at combining medicines to help me feel good. I'm so grateful to have his caring and attentive manner at every visit.

NO, I would not recommend this doctor. I was his patient for 5 years. He was usually in a bad mood and seemed impatient. When I began to experience severe depression, my husband and I were trying everything we could think of to alleviate the symptoms and beat it. We asked a lot of questions. Apparently, too many questions, because WE RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL TELLING US TO STOP SECOND_GUESSING HIM, OR FIND A NEW DOCTOR. I am not kidding.

He doesn't care about his patients and just tries to get you in and out as soon as possible. He also says he doesn't have the time to help in any way outside of a short 15 minute appointment. MDD is a big deal and he doesn't treat it as such. He also called me an adolescent for leaving my perscriptions at his office (even though I'm closing in on 30) yet I actually work and would never tell a client I don't have time to do MY JOB that they are paying for.

This doctor was the biggest mistake for my mental health I have ever made. When I started with him I was doing great (I'm bipolar with major depressive disorder, supposedly his focus) and yet he still felt the need to change my medications I'd been on for 10-15 years that had kept me stable. I felt like I was used as a test subject and everything went exponentially wrong. Beyond that, he literally rolled his eyes at me and my concerns constantly. Very immature and very incompetent.
