Poor care, arrogant
Longtime ulcerative colitis patient, ongoing flare ups. Changed to a new doctor, was given a different medication never discussed with me by Muggia, with great results and have been in remission for a number of years. I’m sorry so much time was lost by continuing to trust him as long as I did.
Veteran , I wouldn't go see this man ever again , he sat there watched me almost jump off a table , when giving me a barium enema , he said there's nothing wrong two weeks later I was in a VA emergency room with 3 narrowing's in my colon , their already colluding to cover this event as well , might as well give up doctor's these days for the most part are all about gouging people to dearth literally ,if your in some assistance like VA health care , they feel entitled to hurt you or neglect
He literally saved my life. I was being treated (2 months) by my primary care for heartburn and with no improvement and was referred to Dr. Muggia. I requested an emergency appointment.and his staff was able to get me in the same day! Dr. Muggia instinctively knew that something was wrong and immediately sent me for heart tests. He contacted the hospital's cardiologists to ensure that my tests were reviewed immediately. It was discovered that I was having a heart attack! Thank you Dr. Muggia
