Superb doctor. Worth the wait. He saved the lives of my children and my dad. He has been there for emergencies. We go for all medical conditions not only our allergy and asthma issues.

The wait time is extremely long. I was told to get undressed from the waist up and put on a robe so that the doctor could check my breathing and a breast exam... After that, I was given a food allergy test in the robe and apparently from this test, I am allergic to several foods. Something told me to get a second opinion. I received a second test and I am not allergic to anything. Also, Allergists should NOT to preforming breast exams. That has nothing to do with allergies.

I have been visiting Dr Mittman for over 20 years. He exhibits a level of interest and care that is hard to find. I was plagued by allergies since my first job as a HS teacher until a job as a Professor. He discovered my allergies which includes chalk dust. I no longer need allergy shors but he is my PCP with whom my specialists collaborate. There is, however, room for improvement re unusually long wait times and response times via phone regarding meds.

If you have nothing better to do but spend an entire day here waiting for the doctor this is the place to be. Guaranteed to be an all day event. We are talking HOURS EVERY visit. Doctor keeps prescribing antibiotic after antibiotic rather than solving the underlying problem. Staff is totally incompetent and snooty, plain out rude.

Bayside, NY – Jan 24, 2018
Wait time is ridiculously long. However, I learned a good deal from his explanations and am feeling better than I have for years with my nasal allergies, which have plagued me with seemingly nonstop congestion. Dr. Mittman certainly knows his stuff and is also very pleasant.. I will certainly return to his office.

visiting Levittown location for allergy testing. sitting in a wideopen testing room shirtless for over 2hours and 10mins now. was told to come in anytime between 1-5. get here at 1:30 PM. 4:10PM now and only thing done to me is common food testing that would normaly take 15 mins. while I sit shirtless with arms open on a table for 2 hours, he's given shot to atleast 4 other patients, chatting with other patients. Horrible experience.

The waiting time to see this doctor is usually an hour more, but it is worth it. Dr. Mittman examines you thoroughly, listens carefully to what you have to say and tries his best to answer all your questions. He is pleasant, friendly and very good about giving samples to help save his patients some money.
