Straight to the point with an accurate and straight-forward assessment. Didn't waste my time. Knew exactly what the problem was when my other doctors had no clue. I'm in physical therapy now and getting better. If you're looking for someone that is going to coddle you and run you through a bunch of unnecessary tests when he already knows exactly what the problem is then look somewhere else.

Best doctor in Charleston. Knowledgeable and competent...It is a pleasure to visit his office

He has diagnosed my problems(3 different ones over several years time) correctly and treated them successfully.

Was referred to him for an injured shoulder..upon entering the room he said nothing after a brief pause asked me what did I come in for. As I explained my issue to him he seem Very disinterested basically told me I'll be fine in six weeks then he prescribed me some Naproxen..needless to say I got a second opinion from MUSC and my shoulder turned out to be worst off than Dr. Lowery acknowledged. He doesn't care that your in pain neither..lol he basically told me to suck it up.

Dr. Lowery did my ankle surgery over 7 years ago. He did a great job. Has very bad bed side manner. In December 2015 I re-injured my ankle in Pittsburgh and when I got back to Charleston, I went to see him. He couldn't have acted less interested. I will never refer a friend, family member, or stranger to him ever. I will not return to him either. He also told my aunt that the only thing he could do to help her was cut her foot off. He is extremely rude and unprofessional.
