This man recommended pscothropic drugs for my young son, offered to write a prescription for whatever services I wanted for my son as long as I agreed to have the service filled by another provider, left us in the waiting room for over an hour while he saw 3 other patients who came in and were scheduled after us, insisted I fill out horribly copied forms that should have been mailed to me prior to appointment, and spent a whooping 5 seconds trying to get my autistic son's attention. Flithy
A psychotropic medication was recommended as the current stimulant medication was reported to not be effectively addressing the child's symptoms. Family-Based Autism Mental Health treatment services were recommended, but parent had another specific service modality in mind. Parent initially refused to fill out questionnaires, necessitating a longer than expected wait period for the child to be seen. Those forms do exist on our website, and can be downloaded prior to initial office visits.

Back in 2010 I went for a job interview fir a medical billing position at his office in East Liberty. He and his wife conned me into helping arrange their patient file, under the guise of showing them I know how to file correctly! Needles to say, they didn't call me back for a job offer, why would they, I'd already done what they need. These two are two very dispicible people!

Dr. Lowenstein spoke to me as if I was deaf, dumb, and blind. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. The behavior specialist sent out to help my child had a agenda of their own. Instead of helping my child they proceeded to make false accusations about my child, and my family, in hopes to label and render a false convenient diagnosis.

This doctor mis-diagnosed my son with ADHD 10 years ago. I told this rude man that he was incorrect..that my son's problems were environmental. My son didn't live with me at the time which i thought was a big factor. Dr Lowenstein medded him up anyway. When my son came home to me I threw the pills in trash. Since then his grades starting improving. He graduated with a 3.6gpa from h school and is on the deans list at college now. This man is a quack.
