Be prepared his office is busy. The staff seems to be stressed, especially the surgery schedule individual. The smooth part seems to be with the in-house Xray tech. Scheduling goes smoothly for appointments. My experience is one of slow healing, 6 months and I’m staring to feel normal again. The first 3 months was anything from normal. Very common for myself to have the new hip dislocated and very annoying, no pain at all but was a mental nightmare. For some reason I had fluid buildup in the area of replacement and it acted like a hydraulic press popping out the joint. That fluid slowly subsided and the dislocation stopped. For me I should of stayed in the hospital for 1 extra day. Couldn’t get my breath after surgery. I should of had some physical therapy, they said it wasn’t necessary and I thought that strange. I’m not really sure if I will have my other hip replacement there. I’m a little spooked to go though this again.

Dr. Lock is an amazingly talented orthopedic surgeon. He replaced my right hip 5 weeks ago. I stood the same afternoon, walked the next day (with a walker) and drove myself to physical therapy the next week. I experienced no pain at anytime during my recovery. Now, 5 weeks later, I'm walking confidently without a cane or walker. Physical therapy at Fizical, in Bullhead City really has enhanced my recovery and given me a lot of confidence. I can't recommend Dr. Lock highly enough.

Terrible customer service. Kept me waiting 4 business days after a referral from emergency room for hairline fracture of my left arm on Friday evening only to tell me (6 days post-injury) that they couldn't see me "in a timely manner" and I should seek help elsewhere.Today, 12 days post-injury and still unable to have set an appointment with another doctor, I called again, only to be told, "Once the doctor says 'No', I can't schedule you. Guess my injury isn't worth their time.

This Dr is rude and uncaring. I am a bigger woman and according to this quack, my swollen knee is due to my weight and then proceeded to tell me about my diet! Will never recommend this Dr to anyone! Needs to take lessons in common courtesy!

My recovery from total knee replacement surgery has been more complicated and lengthy than others I have spoken to. Dr Lock doesn’t listen to or validate your concerns. He totally discounts other professional’s opinions if different from his own. Choose another doctor for knee surgery.

If someone recommends Dr, Lock to you RUN. Because you will not be able to when he is finished with you. He gave me a cortisone shot in my right knee that shot blood 4 feet out when he removed the needle. He stated "cleanup on isle 4" thinking it was cute. I now walk with a limp because it is painful to put full pressure on that leg. I am back in MN and will look for a doctor that may be able to help me fix the damage he has done to my knee.

Dr Lock performed Carpal Tunnel surgery on my left hand. He was 2 1/2 late with no explanation. 2 weeks later at the post op I advised him I could not bend the last digit of my index finger! Dr Lock said it looked like a cut flexor tendon and we needed to jump on it right away, and he would refer me to a hand surgeon. I tried to get his office staff to expedite the referral. After 3 weeks I was referred to the hand surgeon who advised me I needed surgery and I should have been ref'd immediate!
