Dr Robert W. Levin may be the best Rheamatology in the entire state of Florida. He cares a great deal for his patients and listens to his patients attentively and gives the best cortizone shots of any specialist I have been treated by. He spends whatever time you need during your appt. with him. He is passionate about his profession and is very well informed on any and all advancements and new treatments in his Speciality as well as being a wealth of knowledge on overall health & well being.

I have had RA since age 5 first treated NIH and I find Dr Levin's knowledge and treatment exceptional. He is always on top of new meds and treatments and his bedside manner in explanations of treatments are very informative and helpful.

I am looking for another rheumatologist ONLY because of the wait times. After 1.5 hours wait, I asked if this was normal, and was told that 1.5 hours waiting was actually faster than normal. He seems to be a good doctor, and came recommended by my G.P. but his staff (supervised by his mother) overloads his schedule unrealistically. The nurses say he is always behind schedule because he takes time to listen to his patients. I spent 10 minutes with him.

Always late. Doesn't listen well.
Ocala, FL |
Wait times exceedingly longer than any other specialty physician. First of the day appointments will still run 1 1/2hrs behind.
Awful. Never experienced more abuse of waiting room disrespect of patients time. Every visit 1 to 2 hours wait

Dr. Levin was my 3rd rheumatologist I had been sent to concerning 2.5 years of a great decline in my health. After going over my multi-system symptoms he addressed one symptom at a time beginning with the fact that I had not slept in years more than 2 hours due to spasms. After that my debilitating fatigue decreased to the point where I could function again. I realize I am not cured as Dr. Levin pointed out but just the fact that I can function day to day was the greatest gift. Thank You!

I've left the care of Dr Levin because regularly waiting for over an hour to see the doctor and another 20 minutes for blood test and apptmt scheduling is just ridiculous.
