Dr. Kruse was distant. He admitted that he had little experience in my surgery (hip resurfacingt). After my surgery, I had lots of difficulty. I returned to Dr. Kruse and he basically told me that I was a woman and therefore making a mountain out of a molehill.I consulted another ortho who told me that my device was the wrong size, implanted at too steep an angle, that it was for a man, and I would need a surgery to fix the problem. Six years on, I am waiting for another new hip.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Kruse's Care Philosophy

'What turns me on about my specialty is that when people come to me, they are in pain, and cannot do the things they used to do. My passion is to try to push my patients as far as the can go, so they will become normal again. The end result is very worth while for the patient."
