I started seeing Dr Koval because of my constant Polymyalgia. I was always in pain. Dr Koval has been a blessing; he is competent, friendly, down to earth and has a great personality that is only matched by his professional competence. He is the best! It is obvious that he is sincerely concerned for my well being. He listens to what you have to say and is easy to talk to. He's like a good friend. Since going to him I am no longer in pain and I am no longer having to take huge quantities of steroids to control the pain. As a result, my blood pressure is back to normal. I highly recommend Dr Robert Koval; he is five star all the way! You will like him and you will benefit greatly with his care.

My first visit with Dr Koval was June 22, 2020. My main concern was with pain and loss of motion in my right knee. Dr. Koval listened to my concerns. He ordered x-rays that confirmed osteoarthritis. He suggested a steroid injection which gave me significant relief. I felt that he was willing to take the time to listen to me about my concerns. A very positive visit. My second visit was on October 20. I saw Megan. Again my visit was very positive. She took all the time I needed to discuss my issues. She had suggestions about how I might get some relief for my painful knee issues. I reviewed her suggestion and will be following through on the plan we agreed would be most helpful to me. I only wish I would have found Dr. Koval and Megan sooner.

I chose him based on the good reviews online. Definitly was not impressed. He has the worst bedside manner and seemed to be in a rush the 2 times I saw him. His office never bothered to call me with my test results. It was at 6 month flow up that he decided to tell me my labs were questionable for a possible grim diagnosis. Upon me getting upset and crying, all he offered was a cup of water. How awful. Then he hands me some web md handouts and tells me to come back in 6 months. No thanks!. He also stood outside my door talking loud enough that I could hear him dictating. Very unprofessional. Luckily we have relocated back to the eastcoast so I never have to see him again.

Dr. Koval and his team work in perfect harmony & synchrony. They know the patient and have in their hands helpful information, lab results, and the answers to any question or concern one may bring to their attention. I am grateful to them and to all the personnel at Texas Orthopedics for they all make my appointments feel like visiting with caring and knowledgeable friends. I would recommend Dr. Koval, Megan and Jessica wholeheartedly.
