I saw Dr Kayal for 1 visit for knee pain. I will never return. He spent 5 minutes with me. He looked at my x rays and said I needed knee replacement surgery. He never examined my knee or asked about my pain. When I said I did not want surgery, he left me with his physician assistant to give me a cortisone injection. No explanations about surgery or options other than surgery. He also ordered an unnecessary MRI. I have since found a new physician who cares about people.

I'm sure that Dr. Kayal is a good Dr.but he is never at any of the offices. Be careful when they say they accept your insurance. What they mean is they take your insurance and you need to give them a lot of out of pocket money. I owed them a lot!

Dr. Kayal performed two shoulder surgeries on our son and although he did not know us well at the time , he treated us like family. His level of care and his kindness and compassion towards his patients goes above and beyond . We won't go anywhere else!

Dr. Kayal has been my families orthopedic for 20 years. He is truly a gem as a doctor and as a person. He keeps up with the latest technologies and procedures in order to provide the highest level of care with a conservative approach to obtain the best results possible. He has resolved multiple orthopedic issues for our family through physical therapy, injections and surgery depending on the injury. His facilities, staff, physicians assistants and doctors are wonderful and caring.

I had a total Knee Replacement. Goal was to be back on tennis courts with 4 months. Thanks to Dr Kayal and his staff, exactly 4 months and one day later I was hitting a tennis ball. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Kayal and his organization. They prepare you well, inform you of expectations, are quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend Dr Kayal. in Stewartsville, NJ |
I would not go elsewhere. I live approx 90 mile from his office and after growing tired of trying to make appointments with local doctors that wanted to give appointments months away, I tried calling him. It was a Friday when I called and he gave me a Monday appt. I couldn't ask for more. I was also going off the fact that he had successfully performed surgery on 2 other family members, one of which would become the same exact surgery I would get. I couldn't be happier. Total professionalism

in Haledon, NJ |
Dr. Kayal was excellent explaining the issues with my knee condition. He followed up multiple times with results regarding the issue. He took the time to explain and demonstrate the issue and how it could be fixed. He also referred me to other specialists to treat other orthopedic needs and how it would assist the knee treatment. His staff is very courteous and friendly, they make sure you feel welcome when you come to the office and speak to them.
in Wantage, New Jersey |
I met Dr. Kayal on my first visit . Very professional . Explained my condition and answered all my questions in detail. He referred me to one of his outstanding Doctors that he has on his staff. Dr. Pinkas who performed a Total shoulder reversal surgery on my right arm. To date I am pain free and able to use my right arm again. They are by far the Best Orthopedic Group . I would highly recommend them if you want the best !!!
in Wayne, NJ |
Dr. Kayal is personable and easy to talk to; however, I switched to another doctor after he failed to fix my problem with one treatment and then one surgery. He assured me I would not need a hip replacement; however, two other doctors confirmed that the surgery he had performed put me on the path to the necessity of a replacement. To be fair, that may have been inevitable; however, he wasted my time and money with other treatments including a surgery and then told me I would be okay!
in Wyckoff, NJ |
I hurt my lower back at the gym, they got me in the same day. Dr. Kayal was very thorough and suspected herniated discs based on my exam. He got me back in 2 days later to review the MRI and he was spot on, he took the time to show my what was wrong with my spine at L5-S1, after 2 injections and a month of physical therapy I am completely pain free, they even called me up out of the blue to see how I was doing. Office staff and PAs are professional, place was spotless.
in Wayne, NJ |
I recommend Dr. kayal to everyone. I have two wonderful replacement knees, a partial (hemi)shoulder and carpel tunnel surgery all performed by Dr. Kayal.. He is the best.
in Waldwick, NJ |
My entire experience with Dr. Kayal and his facility was excellent. I was in a lot of pain and his office fit me in immediately. The facility was clean and beautiful. Everyone I came in contact with was professional and genuinely very nice and caring. The PA was knowledgeable and friendly as was Dr. Kayal. Dr. Kayal made me feel at home and at ease. I felt I got excellent care and that I am in the right hands for my issue.
in Lodi, NJ |
Dr. Kayal is a very capable surgeon in every respect. Skilled, articulate, caring, helpful, professional. I couldn't have had a better experience.
