Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Johnson "Dr. Johnson believes that treatment for a patient's condition should be determined after considering all the treatment options available.  Many times, the best outcome is achieved with more conservative, less invasive methods.  He strives to discuss all options with the patient and their family to develop a treatment plan that encompasses the patient's lifestyle, quality of life and what they are most comfortable with.  Surgery is considered when all other treatments have been explored, discussed and have been determined to not achieve the outcome that the patient was hoping for.  Surgery is a decision that is arrived at mutually by Dr. Johnson and the patient.  Dr. Johnson takes the time to thoroughly explain the surgery planned and the risks associated with the procedure."

I felt very rushed when interacting with the dr and staff. The dr did not really listen at all. At the end...Read More

I was in more pain than I was before I saw him. This doctor did not help my issues. I had to see another surgeon to fix my back.

Dr. Johnson is one of the most caring and easy-going (but DEFINITELY qualified) surgeons, i.e., neurosurgeons, around! I have had 50 years of spine issues and would go to no one else. He has done several surgeries on my spine and the outcomes have been very positive! He takes time with you as a...Read More
