    He has conducted advanced epilepsy research focusing on the surgical removal of the lesions known to cause epilepsy. This research found that surgical removal or placement of a vagal nerve stimulator is superior to drug treatment in some types of epilepsy.

    As chief of Neurological surgery at Sinai-Grace hospital, I also treat neurotrauma and perform general neurosurgical procedures.
