Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Johnson "Dr. Johnson believes that treatment for a patient's condition should be determined after considering all the treatment options available.  Many times, the best outcome is achieved with more conservative, less invasive methods.  He strives to discuss all options with the patient and their family to develop a treatment plan that encompasses the patient's lifestyle, quality of life and what they are most comfortable with.  Surgery is considered when all other treatments have been explored, discussed and have been determined to not achieve the outcome that the patient was hoping for.  Surgery is a decision that is arrived at mutually by Dr. Johnson and the patient.  Dr. Johnson takes the time to thoroughly explain the surgery planned and the risks associated with the procedure."

I was so sure that he would be able to help me. I had no confidence in the first 3 doctors so continued to look further. He always...more

Upon consulting with Dr. Johnson at my first appointment for my lower back pain I was very relieved that he suggested no surgery at this time. He was very thorough going over my xrays and showed me the areas that are causing the pain. But for now he recommended some PT to strengthen my core and...more
