I had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) surgery for essential tremor. It was 100% effective. Dr. Izor was in the operating room during the procedure, testing me to make sure the electrodes were in exactly the right place. Since the operation Dr Izor and his staff have monitored and adjusted the device so that I am again able to write, paint, type, etc. In addition, Dr. Izor advises me about keeping my brain healthy and delaying cognitive decline. He and his staff are an eleven out of ten.

I would highly recommend Dr. Izor and his staff. When I saw them the first time, I was having to use a walker regularly, and had so much freezing and dyskinesia (from the meds) it had become debilitating. They found the problem, and are making adjustments as needed. I now have no freezing, no dyskinesia, and take no meds except Azilect. Thank you Dr. Izor and staff.

I see Dr. Izor for Essential Tremor. He is polite, interested and attentive.........not true of all doctors........and I feel very comfortable being his patient. He is patient with my many questions, and I never feel rushed. The staff, by and large, is very professional and friendly.

I have essential tremor which is a very easy condition for Dr. Izor to treat compared to the serious movement disorders he handles. I have used other neurologists who I didn't care for - variety of reasons. Of the three visits I have had in his clinic, I have mostly seen his PA. Saw Izor for 15 minutes on first appointment. I would guess that he spends a lot more time with more serious issues than mine. I like the staff. It is easy to get in. The PA staff is knowledgeable and caring.
