Would that all surgeons of his level were like Dr. Hotchkiss. A surgeon who walks into the examination room with a smile. A surgeon who doesn't push for surgery because "sometimes waiting can be the best thing for the patient." I went to HSS to get a second opinion/confirmation on what I thought was a "must have surgery." Talk about one of the luckiest decisions of my life. Though I may eventually need the surgery he has given me invaluable time till then. Add to that a warm, friendly and amazingly efficient staff. Again, feeling incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Hotchkiss.

Dr. Hotchkiss and his team are the best. I've had to see him for a number of issues over the years to include sports injuries, a serious fall, arthritic inflammation, and most recently for a new condition of excruciatingly painful pseudo gout. Dr. Hotchkiss has always been very responsive with thoughtfulness and genuine concern in his recommendations, and right on with his prescribed courses of treatment. He's a superstar among orthopedists, IMHO.
