From start to finish, everyone at the office told me exactly what to expect and were very polite and knowledgeable. I hadn't my PRK procedure one week ago today and could not be happier. Dr. Haverly and his staff were excellent. Everyone's was very clear on what to do after the surgery. I followed the after care directions to the letter and have fantastic results. Dr. Haverly and his staff could not have been any better.

I had lasik from Dr. Haverly over a year and a half ago and my surgery has been life-changing! It's an amazing feeling to wake up in the morning, open your eyes and see everything perfect. I wore glasses and contacts for 30 years before that. The surgery was less than 20 mins and my recovery was only a couple of days. I would highly recommend Dr. H and his staff at Laser Eye Surgery of Erie. They were knowledgeable, friendly and made my lasik experience very comfortable.

I would highly recommend Dr. Haverly. He is very thorough and completely explains what he will be doing. I felt very confident being in his care.

Left my elderly father's eye surgery till the very end of the day, waiting about 3 hours from time we checked in/were scheduled. Had no after care plan in place to take into account early dementia. Wasted, failed surgery.
I understand your frustration and apologize for the long wait you endured. Unfortunately, surgeons and their office staff do not have the authority to manage the patient schedules at the surgery centers. The anesthesia department sets the schedule each day based upon the needs of the daily schedule and other surgeons performing cases that day. Sometimes there can be delays that are unforeseen and we want to make sure each patient gets the attention they deserve.
Few months ago dr. Haverly performed cataract laser surgery on both eyes. He had to change a lens on one eye because I could not see without reading glasses and I was able to before the operation! The second eye did not improve although he promised that I will be able to see 20/20 with that eye! The blurriness and driving at night did not improve. He could not fix the second eye. The laser surgery was very expensive ,out of pocket and did not produce satisfactory outcome.
Although we strive to meet 100 percent satisfaction, each patient responds differently to treatment. There was never a guarantee of 20/20 vision.

I had cataract surgery in February of 2015 because I had blurry vision. Over a year later and I have the same problem . Because of a lack of compassion from the doctor and no follow up, I gave up on Dr. Haverly and am presently seeing another Doctor.
Follow up care was performed and continued for several months.
