Care Philosophy

"Replacing pain with life". There are pain clinics around here that overbill patients for pain services. They look to write prescriptions so that you will be dependent on them and then they can bill you for injections - be careful of their billing practices. See how long they sit with you to discuss other options besides drugs, pain pumps and injections. See if they have email. See if they really care about you. Follow your heart! God Bless! askthedoc@pacificpain.net

Patient Comments (4)
I went to Dr. Frey for my chronic low back pain. He did a thorough examination and started with the least invasive procedure first, which for me was an epidural steroid injection. So far the results have been great. I only wish I had seen him sooner. He has a tremendous bedside manner, seems to really understand all the therapy options and how to pursue treatment, and seems to have genuine interest in my improvement as a patient. I would recommend Dr Frey to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

Dr Frey is very arrogant and does not listen or care about his patients. He can be downright cruel sometimes and is so scared of the DEA that he makes everyone out to be a drug seeker. He is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I don't recommend him if you're suffering from chronic pain and need more than just ibuprofen and some exercise.i was surprised to see any good reviews at all for him. As for the staff, Kim is the only bad one who works at the front desk. She quite an angry woman.

I trust Dr. Frey with my life. He is outstanding and has never steered me wrong. He listens, is patient, understanding, kind, sincere, knowledgeable, and smart. His innovative thinking has helped my healing process. My pain was a 20+. It is now bearable and I can sleep and function in my daily duties. His recommendation for PT at POW was right on. I have gotten stronger and continue the exercises at home. He is a wonderful patient advocate. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
