This content was provided by Dr. Frederick "Dr. Frederick is the Associate Director of Sports Medicine at The Rothman Institute, and an Assistant Professor of Orthpaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Previously, he was Director of Sports Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. During the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, he was the Director of Athlete Care for Gymnastics and also provided medical care for the Track and Field events and Marathon. In the 2004 Olympics, he served as a member of the US Olympic Medical Team caring for Men's and Women's Gymnastics, Women's Softball, Weight Lifting and Judo. His present affiliations include Assistant Team Physician for the Philadelphia Phillies, Saint Joseph's University, and the Philadelphia Flyers."

May be a good doc, but is very inconsiderate. Took my elderly dad for a follow up appt. The appt was scheduled for 10:45. Finally saw the doc after 2:00 pm. He has his staff do the dirty work and tell you that he is behind. Started out one hour behind. . Ended up 2.5 hours behind. Sure felt like...more

1st visit Dr Frederick showed me my injuries (Partial ACL tear, 2 lateral meniscus tears) on my MRI, sent me to physical therapy & explained what to expect. Follow-up 6 weeks - totally different experience! Waste of time! Waited 30minutes, Resident saw me 1st. Resident hadn't looked @ my Xrays...more
