Good choice for seeing a hand surgeon for a second opinion. Knowledgeable, approachable, willing to do a lot of extra research on my condition and treatment options. Good location. Great waiting room. Office staff very helpful and friendly.

I primarily see Rob- his PA who is patient and terrific and has so much experience with hands. Dr Foster knows what’s going on and comes in he’s needed. I trust them both with my hands- I’ve had bilateral arthroplasty with tendon transfer in 2017 and 2019 and they have been great every step of the way!

Dr Foster is obviously a very skilled hand surgeon. I did have to wait 40 minutes after my appointment time to see him. The Dr. recommended I get an MRI after reviewing my x-rays, and declined my request for a cortisone shot in my wrist for pain. At this time I am considering the cost of an MRI since it is not covered by my insurance.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Foster after hand surgery and less-than-satisfactory post-op care with another doctor. He is extremely patient, relaxed, accessible and KNOWLEDGEABLE, takes as much time as I want to discuss what is going on physically and what I need to do as far as exercises, etc. I wish I had gone here first! I am a guitarist and my treatment at Texas Orthopedics has helped me get back to full strength and back to the top of my game.
