Made avoidable surgery error that resulted in long term hospitalization, emergency corrective surgery, and additional follow-up surgery to repair. I would highly recommend that you go to someone else. The risk is too high with this doctor.

Horrendous. I would strongly recommend anyone to find some other doctor. ANY other doctor. He refused to answer questions following my lymph node surgery I gotta go; I've got work to do. Five days after my surgery he had a staff member (also rude) call me to say The biopsy results came back early. You have cancer. Someone will call you in the next two weeks to schedule an appointment What??? Is this is what Henry Ford Health System considers professional and acceptable behavior? BAD

Dr Elkus was honest and straightforward and obviously knows what he is doing. He is professional but keeps it light. I had hernia surgery and, while still sore, I am please with the results and the communication. I would highly recommend Dr Elkus

Dr. Elkus removed a huge (9.5x5.5) tumor-like lump from my hip. No complications! Returned several times to have wound drain. First surgery on the same hip, by (Doctor ???) RESIDENT disfigured me, and has caused six years oF misery and disability. Dr. Elkus' expertise is so appreciated, that i'm going back for further evaluation of advanced condition from first surgery.
