Board certification should be one of your top considerations when choosing a doctor. Board certification is an official recognition given to doctors who have met specific requirements set by national medical specialty boards in the United States.
Board certification indicates that a doctor is highly qualified in the medical field in which he or she practices. A board-certified doctor is more likely than a non-board-certified doctor to have the most current skills and knowledge about how to treat your medical condition.
I have been teaching fellows in my surgical specialty interest starting in 1974 through this last year. I have also been teaching residents for as many years and giving lectures at national and international meetings on the subjects. I have published in approximately 60 articles and contributed to many chapters in medical books. Many years of experience contribute to my ability. Although I am willing to ask for consultation or help any time that it is indicated
I feel that scarring is something to be avoided as much as possible, so we do breast lifts in a way that is scarless on the breast with the incision made on the arm pit, as is the case when we do with the majority of our breast augmentations. I approach all my surgery in a manner in which to get the best possible results with the least amount of scarring, swelling, or even ecchymosis.

Dr. Dryden was trained at the University of California in San Francisco and then spent 2 years at the National Institutes of Health prior to coming to Tucson to practice. My practice currently includes facial plastic surgery, full body cosmetic surgery, stem cell deployment and bio identical hormone replacement therapy.I am active in the American Society of Ophthmalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the air American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. I generally narrate the meetings for the latter group. I teach residents in ophthalmology eye plastic surgery at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson and had been doing so for approximately 40 years.
I feel the patient should not have to wait for their appointments, so generally we can see a patient within one or 2 days, unless I am at the veterans hospital or on vacation. Similarly, we try to scheduler surgery as quickly as possible and do not let it be added to a long wait list. Our staff is very accommodating, and our surgical center is always welcoming and efficient. We go out of our way to educate patients and to achieve what they desire and have them very much involved in the decision for any type of surgery that is going to be performed or any medical care that is also delivered. I am available for patients 24/7 by telephone. If I am not in the office. If I am away from Arizona, coverage is always provided. I also feel it a phone call in the evening after surgery helps allay a lot of anxiety on the part of the patient. We go out of her way to be compassionate and caring at all times
