This content was provided by Dr. Dimeff "I joined Texas Orthopaedic Associatesin Dallas, in January 2018, as a specialist in Primary Care Sports Medicine, Non-operative Orthopedics and Regenerative Medicine. From 2009 to 2018, I was the Director of Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where I was a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatrics, and Family & Community Medicine. I have been Team Physician for the NHL Dallas Stars and Local Medical Director of the Dallas Rock-n-Roll ½ Marathon since 2012. I am a Sports Medicine Consultant to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, and to the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Plano. I was the Head Team Physician for UT Dallas from 2013 to 2018 and Team Physician for the Grand Prairie Airhogs Baseball team from 2010 to 2013. From 1990-2009, I was the Medical Director of Sports Medicine and the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Director at the Cleveland Clinic Foundationin Cleveland, Ohio. I have served as Team Physician for the NFL Cleveland Browns, NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, AHL Cleveland Barons Hockey team, WNBA Cleveland Rockers, Cleveland State University Athletic Department, Lakewood Figure Skating Club, and Shaker Heights High School. I have been the Medical Director for numerous regional and national sporting events, including the US Figure Skating Association National Championships in 2000 and 2009, the US Gymnastics Association National Championships in 2002, the Gravity Games in 2002 and 2003, and the US Senior Open Golf Tournament in 1996. I graduated in 1985 from the 6-year combined BS/MD program at Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, where I received the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award. I completed a Family Medicine Residency at Rush Medical Center in Chicago and a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. I am board certified in Family Practice with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition, I am a Charter Member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the largest Primary Care Sports Medicine physician organization in the world, and have also served as President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Board Member. I have authored over fifty articles and book chapters. I have organized and lectured at numerous regional, national and international medical conferences. Since 2003, I have been recognized annually as one of America's Top Doctors for Sports Medicineby US News and World Report. I have been married to my wife, Joanne since 1986. We two daughters, Brittany and Alexandra, residing in Los Angeles and New Orleans, respectively."

His new space at Texas Orthopaedics Associates facility on Walnut Hill is very nice. He has done wonders for me and my daughter... I would recommend him to any weekend warrior young or old-- he is very caring, very smart and very up on the latest treatments.

Dr Dimeff listens well and asks questions to determine treatment before jumping to quick conclusions. He spent time explaining options and I left feeling like there was hope for healing an injury. Minimal wait time. Staff respectful.
