I was referred to Dr Denshaw a few years ago by my PCP. I think he has been one of it best doctors I've been to in years. He takes time to talk to you and explains everything clearly. I wrote this review because I saw somebody gave him a 1 star review, saying he was rude, etc. That couldn't be more far from the truth

My elderly father had been under the care of a different wonderful UPMC nephrologist for years. This doctor filled in for him at one appointment... it was a horrible experience. He was rude, he yelled at my father who is hard of hearing and told my Dad "you are a sinking ship!" Dr. Denshaw is ignorant and unprofessional with no empathy for the elderly. Avoid him!! UPMC has others to choose.
