in Lyndhurst, NJ |
Frequent urination problem (pee 10-12times at night). Dr. Caruso put me on antibiotics-3months (yes!) covering different spectra of bacteria. Did bladder intrusion test, vaginal ultrasound. Not much improvement (down to 7-8 times at night). Said it could be vaginal infection, but nothing clear. Took it into my own hands, stopped antibiotics, did research. Cut down caffeine completely (coffee, soda). Vola! Frequency down to 2times at night. Very dissatisfied with direction of treatment.

Dr. Caruso himself is excellent. He's a knowledge urologist who is thorough and dedicated. I would highly recommend him. However, his office staff is mostly incompetent and consistently fail to give him messages. There is no follow up or communication with the doctor on lab results and if you don't self advocate constantly you will fall through the cracks. Simple UTI results can take a week to 10 days to finally get a script because no one follows up with the Doctor.
