Have been a patient for many years and have found Dr. Brew to be a compassionate, thorough, professional. He takes the time to explain and the time to answer questions. He has a sense of humor that helps you to connect to him as a "friend" in addition to being a fine physician.

Dr. Brew is knowledgeable but for issues regarding mental health or pain treatment go elsewhere. For example when I wanted an anti-depressant he would only prescribe me with one type. After letting him know several reasons why I didn't think that particular drug would work well for me, he wouldn't budge, offering me only the one choice or a referral. Since I felt like I needed something and felt like I couldn't wait for a referral I went with the drug. My intimate life ended up taking a hit due to the drug and my next two relationships really suffered as a result. I also had an issue with somewhat chronic pain in my shoulder. After doing some tests, he didn't have much idea what was wrong. He let me know they could do more tests, and that if a problem was found they could treat the problem with meds or with surgery. I asked about less extreme treatments like physical therapy or chiropractic care, but he would not consider these treatments even with further testing.

Dr Brew has been my PCP for decades now. At first, he seemed "dorky" but it grew on me that he was very professional in his explanations and dialog. Never rushed and prompt for appointments, he is empathetic but not overly warm.

Dr Brew has been my PCP for awhile now. He's very thorough with my annual check ups, I have complete confidence in his ability to continue to help keep me 100% fit.. For example, I had an issue with my shoulder a few years back, combining Dr Brew's initial exam with his scheduled diagnostic testing, we were able to pin point precisely what my issue was, Dr Brew then referred me to a great specialist (best orthopedic surgeon I've met) and we were able to correct my problem completely.

Dr. Brew just completed my annual physical while my PCP was out of town. Best physical exam I have had in years! This MD really cares. He corrected all the errors in my medical chart, asked appropriate questions, and actually physically examined me - so refreshing to be treated like a patient for a change. Kudos to Dr. Brew. He is going to be my new PCP. Thank You Dr. Brew.

Dr Brew was covering for my primary care when I called for severe pain in my shoulder. I was just diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy ( pinched nerve) I was scheduled for an epidural injection, but not for another month. Dr Brew ordered a medicine that would not be effective until I was taking it for two weeks. When asked what I could do for the pain in the meanwhile he had no further suggestions. Really? I'm suffering with debilitating pain and he has no further suggestions ? No compassion!
